NBC News correspondent Richard Engel announces death of 6-year-old son, who had Rett syndrome
Richard Engel, NBC News' boss unfamiliar journalist, shared miserable news Thursday that his 6-year-old child Henry has kicked the bucket. Engel and his better half had been open about the kid's fight with an uncommon hereditary condition.
"Our darling child Henry died," Engel composed on Twitter. "He had the gentlest blue eyes, a simple grin and an infectious snicker. We generally encompassed him with adoration and he returned it, thus substantially more."
Henry, who was brought into the world in September 2015, was only a baby when his folks previously acknowledged he was not arriving at formative achievements, as per a recognition for Henry on the Texas Children's Hospital site.
